Spirit Sisters - Satisfaction (Week 4 Day 2))

Each of us, everyday, 'trades God' for things that do not satisfy. Whether it be possessions, career, family, fame, or a myriad of other things, we replace God with them. He knew this would happen so he gave us a commandment concerning it (Ex. 20:23). He commanded that we know Him, and only Him, as God. Any time we would rather be involved with the other things or activities before spending time with Him those things or activities become our satisfaction, our idol, our God if you will. Why are we not totally satisfied with God? Pray that we will begin finding satisfaction in God and the desires and purposes He has for our lives.
